Squad with roles & numbers
The squad view lists every member with photo, role and shirt number – split into managers, players, guests and guardians. As a manager you assign roles and numbers, and several managers per team are no problem.

Create an invite, show the QR code, let them scan – done. Or share the link or code in the group chat. Invite codes are valid for seven days.

Publicly findable – if you want
Set your team to “Public” and players can find you via the team search in the app, view your team profile and send a join request. You accept or decline in the squad view – after checking their player profile if you like.
By default a team is private: only people you invite get in.

FAQ on the team profile
What can I put in the team profile?
Team name, description, year founded, club location or home ground, league or division, plus a logo or crest and a team photo. Startelf adds the member count automatically.
How do I invite players to my team?
Create an invite in the squad view. New players scan the QR code, open the shared link or enter the code in the app. An invite code is valid for seven days – after that, just create a new one.
Can people find my team in the app?
Only if you want them to. Set the team to “Public” and it appears in the app's team search, where players can send a join request for you to accept or decline. Without that switch, only people you invite get in.
Can a team have more than one manager?
Yes. Any manager can make other members managers. Startelf makes sure there's always at least one manager left.
Can I manage several teams?
Yes. With one account you can join several teams or create your own and switch between them with a tap.
Who can edit the team profile?
Managers only. Editing the team profile, crest and team photo and sending invites need an active Manager subscription for the team. All members can see the profile.
How much does Startelf cost?
Startelf is free for players. Creating events and managing the team comes with the Manager subscription – one subscription for the whole team, from €4.99 a month or €49.99 a year, first month is free, cancel anytime.
